At the core of all lower stage motion lies the WICREATIONS wagon technology. Let’s start with the 8 gigantic audience grandstands that smoothly slide over the floor on WI DUB40 wagons. 209 people seated on 8 enormous galleries, empty weight 28 tons smoothly gliding left/right, back & forth, parting and seamlessly fusing smoothly around a static stage to create new sightlines. 

Add 8 moving video screen wagons, 2 scenery wagons and numerous constantly shifting props and scenic elements, and you begin to grasp the immense complexity of coordinating and timing the subsequent scenes. 

The technology has been first introduced in 2018 for the fixed installations for the Studio 100 pop up studio in Puurs, Belgium where over the years a series of internationally reputed musicals have been programmed such as the war dramas 14-18 and 40-45, the priest saga Daens and the final production, the widely popular Red Starline. Of course over the years the technology has been constantly refined and tuned to perfection till where we are now 2025 Barneveld.

Multiple DUB40 drive units can be connected by linking frames added on both sides of the units. This way a wider motion range is guaranteed and heavy, huge or very large loads can be moved with millimeter precision up to 10 tonnes per drive. A minimum of 2 interconnected units should always be used in order to perfectly control direction, so 20 tonnes is a standard max. weight for 1 set-up.

With theatre as an orchestra of numerous motion controlled props and scenic pieces, breathtaking dynamic led projections that bring entire scenes and landscapes to life, a great cast and a modern powerful story, the core itself of the art form theatre has evolved into a new era of enhanced sensory engagement. The stands are motioned to bring the audience right into the heart of the action thus shifting their roles from passive spectators into active participants in the story while all the time comfortably seated. Thrusted into the narrative as privileged witnesses, fully immersed in a world that unfolds all around them.

They want to be part, literally step into the story and intensely experience it with all their senses from close by. Call it theatre new style.
