UEFA BERLIN 2024

WHEN MOTION BECOMES EMOTION - 6 led screens smoothly fusing to form 1 gigantic canva where the football action will explode in the Berlin UEFA fan village. Neatly sliding aside after the game to give full view to the magnificent Brandenburg Tor.

Our challenge: provide Berlin as world metropol of sports with the largest possible screen (24mx12m total mobile weight 84 tonnes) and at the same time think of a solution to keep the Brandenburg Tor as iconic eyecatcher and nr 1 symbol of Berlin omnipresent during the sport intermezzos. 

The transition from screens L/R to 1 screen and vice versa has never been shown to the public. In the fan village people could see either 1 big screen to watch the football games or the stage with the parted screens as silent statues L/R and all the spotlights on the stage with the Brandenburg Tor as magnificent background.
