Floriade 2012 Horticultural World Expo - Venlo (NL)

Every 10 years, the Floriade is organized in het Dutch town of Venlo. This year you can visit the expo between the 5th of April and the 7th of October. On Wednesday the 4th of April it was the official opening by the Queen of the Netherlands. During this ceremony a large raft was floating on the water and ... this raft had to move.

This is where we came in. We redesigned one of our winches so it was able to use ropes instead of steel cables. By doing this we were able to move the raft very precise and at the right speed. This way all the artist on top could do their acts without any problems.
