Every single year new bands turn to WIcreations with a request to add some automation to their set designs, to add to that 'WoW-effect'. And indeed, 19000 young people got WoW-ed by the Cate Carter & Jan De Keyser stage design.
About the set design
They chose to combine the WIcreations TP5 rotators with video and lighting.
9 TP5 rotators attached to 9 video screens and when they turn around, some moving heads got visible. So they took care of the perfectly integrated motion.
Together with twelve 800kg hoists which were used to lower and raise 3 lighting pods with each 10 moving heads above the 25m catwalk to complete the automation magic.
