VICTORIA'S SECRET

Victoria Secret loves to emphasize their role as a pioneer in the lingerie industry and this show with the Angels does not only highlight glamour and exclusivity but also diversity, self-love and inclusion. It is a runway translation of their new illuminated vision. Reknown for our solutioneering wit and our high end expertise as a partner in complex  fashion events, WI were asked by Buro Betak to realize some impressive show effects.

Structures and motion gear were brought in to start with 10 gigantic moving screens installed on a WI-Track. The inner 8 were attached to TP07 rotators. The screens allowed the models and performers to enter and exit the stage and on top they were used to make some unforgettable effects possible, for example the flabbergasting middle view on the East River during the show. Front side: video panels, back side: fabric. All screens were controlled by our WI-500-T187 drives.

3 lift platforms provided by the client for which WI did the scaffolding integration. Each platform was controlled by 4xTP30 800kg hoists and used for models and performers to enter and exit the stage. 1 lift platform raised by 4xTP06 lifts was used to raise models but also larger props such as a piano. The supporting structure was our responsibility while the client did the finishing.
