Circle of Light - Moscow International Festival 2012
Festivals

Spectacular free annual event at which light and graphic designers utilize the urban space of Moscow for multimedia and light installations. A world of transformation has descended on the busy Russian capital, with multimedia displays converting Moscow’s landmarks into even greater spectacles. The buildings that symbolize Russia – among them the Bolshoi Theatre, the Moscow Manege, the Moscow State University, VDNKh, and others – transform into canvases for large colorful video projections. The second International Circle of Light festival will color the mighty city’s embankments, monuments and buildings for 5 days.
WI TOWERS
The main events are being held in and around Russia’s famous Red Square, featuring space-light installations and audio-visual shows. This is where WI got involved: 2 freestanding spot towers used to house some large projectors to project images and movies on a big inflatable ball. Next to the spot towers 4 lighting towers with each tower stuffed with all kinds of spots. And last but not least, 2 curved towers next to the inflatable ball to boost the visual impact to magic heights.
