THE K3 ORIGINALS REUNION CONCERTS 2025

Concerts & Touring

WICreations

Waves of nostalgia, tears and collective euphoria swept through the impressive @AFAS Dome on October 3 as the iconic songs of the original girl band K3, filled the air. The sparkling trio Karen, Kristel and Kathleen, (nearly) 50 — have inspired generations of Flemish and Dutch youth with their girly, perfectly synchronized dance moves and catchy songs.

THE K3 LOGO CONCEPT

The initial creative spark for the K3 logo came from Studio 100 CEO and creative business genius Gert Verhulst who saw branding opportunities with the K and the 3 as sparkling eyecatchers and centerpieces for the stage. This idea was shared with Painting With Light, a long-time Studio 100 partner, who further elevated the concept. CEO Luc Peumans proposed a fully 3D animated version to maximize visual impact. After a green light from our key account Geert Stockmans, the project rapidly gained momentum.

What a privilege for WI - trusted Studio 100 partner for over 20 years - to be invited once again to help breathe to life a magic that means the world to so many people.

PR TEASING

Transporting these massive structures proved to be a challenge in itself. As part of a PR teaser campaign, the transport was announced publicly yet the actual logo had to remain concealed—shrouded in mystery to pump up the vibe for the upcoming shows.

The K3 logo is a robust, steel-engineered construction designed to seamlessly integrate video panels around both letters while ensuring quick and efficient assembly and dismantling.

MOTION

Both the K and the 3 combine horizontal travel with rotation. The setup is based on 2 ground tracks (13 m and 15 m) previously deployed for the Take That's This Life On Tour shows.

Motion system highlights include:

  • A standard TP09 rotator for the 3
  • A custom-built rotator for the letter K character, engineered to rotate around its central axis
  • Two lifts, a TP01 and the new PC02 combined into a single lift platform, both used  for stage entries of props, performers and the K3 members
  • TP03 250 kg winches for motioning the mirror balls
  • Two track lines powering the flying platform system
