The latest 14th edition of Maria De Filippi’s talent show ran during March, April and May on Channel 5 Witty TV in Italy. Thirty people or groups participated in the talent show, showcasing their talents from singing and dancing right up to full theatre shows!
To offer the artistic department the freedom they needed to develop the stunning performance routines for the artists, WI installed 33 metres of WI-track with two actively driven TP2 flying winches.
This tracking setup was complemented with four additional fixed-winches and 5 high speed Lift Champ 250kg moving chain hoists.
All these elements were connected to and controlled from one of our central operating desks.
The Wicreations show team comprised a motion-control operator …. and a floor manager who provided a vital link between the show’s artistic team … and the automation operator.
