Holiday On Ice - Speed 2011

For many years now we’ve been working for the ever successful European show of Holiday on Ice. This year again we were asked to design and build some major items for the production.

We built the supporting structure for the ‘main engines’, two big round video screens (diameter: 9 m) surrounded by inflatables. We also made the ‘front grill’ (3 x 3,6 m) to which a fabric was attached that showed some artwork. Safety is and will always be one of our main concerns and this was certainly the case for the ‘dancer bridge’, a 15,5 m long construction we constructed for the skaters, well, to dance on. And last but not least we also made 3 ‘kite surfers’ to be pushed around on the ice rink by the skaters. Cool!
