FLOOR TRACK

We offer a wide range of motion control systems for all sorts of applications: track trolleys, chain hoists, winches, rotators, elevators and turn tables. We bring custom made solutions to meet with your needs on request.

One of our strongest rental products is the Heavy Duty Floor Track, this self-engineered tracking system is designed to move (very) large and also smaller structures along a predefined track. As all our elements, the Heavy Duty Floor Track can be connected to our motion control network and can be controlled from one desk together with all the other elements.

When our Heavy Duty Floor Track is hired. We combine elements from our rental stock, together with the Floor Track drive units.This way a relatively cheap solution can be provided to move very large structures.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The dimensions of the entire structure depends on the structure that has to be moved.
The master and the slave drive unit are similar in size.
The beams fit perfectly between a standard scaffolding structure. After installing the scaffolding, it’s pretty easy to install the trackbreams in between. On top of these beams, a steel tube is placed which acts as the track.

DRIVE UNITS

Our own develloped drives and automation system powers the servo-motors - each powering a master drive unit per cart. A second slave drive unit was needed to steer the carts smoothly through the two curved sections of the track and to handle resulting horizontal wind loads on the LED screens.
The heavy duty floor based track system has a positional accuracy of 1 centimetre.
The maximum speed of movement for this concert was 300 mm per second with the carts moved extremely smoothly and precisely via our own WIMOTION control system.
