The dancing video screens
The
Awakenings techno fests in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven are top of the
bill in the Netherlands and far beyond.
These
impressive dance events are always sold out weeks in advance. This year we were
asked to provide a system that would move 6 video screens in almost all
possible directions over the heads of the DJ’s. The screens not only had to
move along our curved tracking system but also had to be brought from a
perfectly vertical to a horizontal position. Thanks to our Motion Control
system all went according to plan. And all DJ’s returned home safely.
