Vink, a company from the Belgian town of Heist-op-den-Berg, is Europe's largest stock keeper and distributor of semi-finished plastics. Their wide range also includes glass reinforced plastics, which consist of fibers and glass. The main features of this material include its excellent corrosion resistance, its light weight and its great mechanical characteristics.
In 2008, the company needed a bicycle shed for its many employees who came to work in an environmentally friendly way. WIcreations was asked to design and build the bicycle shed. Of course, a glass reinforced plastic was used, because of its remarkably low weight and its excellent resistance to harsh weather.
