Walking over the heads...
For over 13 years "Friends of Amstel" is a fixed value among the big music events in the Netherlands.
For this edition we made sure that everything could get on stage, this we did with our TP2 elevator.
The production wanted some moving lighting trusses on the ceiling ,so we delivered 15 hoists and our motion control system.
But this wasn't the big challenge the production came across with.
This year they had a B-stage, and they had to get to that stage somehow... so we build a bridge!
The biggest challenge was the length needed to get to the B-stage, a free span of 20m gives always some problems. But we solved them perfectly, contra weights to balance the bridge, a telescopic elevator to get the bridge over the heads of the audience and so on ...
It was once again a edition never to forget!
