Mega Mindy Airlines
Mega Mindy, a type of female Superman, is mega popular among young people in Benelux. Mieke, the character from a youth series by production house Studio 100, is in normal life a brave and very shy police officer. But when she sees injustice, she changes into a real super woman who effortlessly defeats all the bad guys. She can even fly.
In 2009 Studio 100 organised a Summer Festival in Ahoy Rotterdam. Obviously Mega Mindy had to be there. And she flew, high (10 – 12 metres) over the heads of the frenzied young fans. The flight of Mega Mindy was made possible by the Wi Track, the tracking system from WiCreations. On this occasion a special winch was made that made it possible for Mega Mindy to fly, move, sing and land on the stage.
