Priscilla Queen of the Desert is a dazzling musical telling the funny adventures of two drag queens and a transsexual on their way to a cabaret gig in the Australian desert. Think about 500 costumes, very high heels, equally high pitched voices and lots of fun. The Italian production of the musical asked for a system to move the ‘ladies’ simultaneously up and down. In comes our track and three new TP3 winches which were specially built for the occasion. Actually, we had to install two tracks, as the winches were positioned so close to one another there was no room left to put the cable trolley in between. The trolley was therefore mounted on the second track. We go to great lengths to please the ladies.
