Opera - L’Amour de loin
Flanders opera uses WI-equipment during their shows.
Amorous desire inflamed and kept alight by words and poetic evocation. In L’Amour de loin, the poet and troubadour Jaufré Rudel and Clémence, Countess of Tripoli, are entirely under each other’s spell, even before they have ever met. Love, purely ‘from hearsay’, purely by grace of the expressive powers of language.
At some points during the show several elements had to be moved from one place to the other. This is where we come in, we installed 12 ZERO-SPEED chain hoists controlled by the 3D Kinesys K2 software package to make the movements. Because of the very low noise production during movement our ZERO-SPEED chain hoist are extremely suitable for opera, theatre and other places were accurate movement has to happen during silent moments.
