Moving a heavy screen with fingertip control
In 2011 Columbian singer songwriter Juanes will be touring in North America. His special request: a large (and heavy) video screen that must be able to move in all directions. As the screen is very large we had to make sure it won’t bend, so we designed a large frame to attach the screens to. And as Mr. Juanes will tour extensively (6 months) everything had to be made compact and easy to build up and dismantle again. To move the screen we also delivered eight 500kg Lift-Champ chain hoists and nine 500kg Varistar Chain hoists. To operate the system to perfection and to make sure everything works as advertised one of our operators is touring along with the production.
